Country singer Mindy McCready, who is primarily famous nowadays for her addiction issues and police record, is headed back to the click. Mindy, 32, is scheduled to turn herself over to authorities today for violating her probation on her prescription drug fraud arrest last June.

Her attorney, Lee Ofman, issued the following statement to Usmagazine.com Monday:

“In accordance with an agreement we have reached with the district attorney of Williamson County, Tennessee, Ms. McCready will voluntarily surrender to authorities on September 30th to serve a sentence of 60 days. The successful completion of this sentence will satisfy her obligation to the State of Tennessee resulting from her probation violation.”

Speaking directly to her fans, McCready said, “I am working very hard to put all of this behind me as quickly as possible so I can get back to what I like to do most: sing, write songs, and entertain. I would like to thank my fans for their unwavering support as I continue to work on my recovery and to regain custody of my precious son, Zander.”

Mindy entered rehab last July for an undisclosed addiction. Friends claimed Mindy’s on-off relationship with Roger Clemens took a toll on her mental state, and prompted the rehab stint. Mindy and the New York Yankees pitcher began an affair in 1991 when Mindy was only 15 years old.

According to TMZ, Kanye was arrested at LAX today for excessive CAPS use. No, he was arrested for wearing that outfit. No, he was really arrested for felony vandalism.

While at the American Airlines terminal (he doesn’t have a private jet?), a pap started taking pictures of him. Kanye wasn’t feeling very photogenic, so he snatched the pap’s camera and smashed it on the ground.

TMZ started filming it with their own video camera when Kanye’s assistant tried to stop them. The camera dude and Kanye’s assistant started fighting over it. The assistant won and he threw the camera to the ground, breaking it. Kanye then tried to get the tape from TMZ’s guy.

Kanye and his assistant are currently being booked.

Shelley Malil, the guy who played Haziz in The 40 Year Old Virgin, was arrested yesterday outside San Diego after stabbing his ex-girlfriend . . . 20 fucking times. Haziz arrived to his ex’s home late Sunday night and found her with another man in the backyard. He grabbed a knife, stabbed her, and then chased her through the home, also stabbing her male companion. The victim is currently in critical condition at a local hospital but is expected to survive. Her two kids were home at the time of the attack. A neighbor told San Diego’s KNSD:

“Her chin was almost entirely cut off. She had a huge gash in her arm that looked like a really deep wound that was bleeding profusely. She asked me to hold her and I could feel a lot of gashes in her back as well.”

He stabbed her 20 times? C’mon, that seems like a bit of an exaggeration. It was probably closer to 15. Give the guy a break. Who among us has never left an ex-girlfriend or two in critical condition? Those in glass houses . . .
