Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi finally made it official over the weekend. Their spokesperson told People Magazine:

“Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi were married tonight in an intimate ceremony at their home in Los Angeles. DeGeneres, 50, and de Rossi, 35, both wore Zac Posen and exchanged rings by Neil Lane during the Saturday ceremony.

The intimate ceremony was attended by 19 guests who witnessed the couple exchange handwritten vows.”

Portia looks loverly as usual. And so happy! I would be fucking happy too if I just married a dykey pot o’ gold! Congratulations to Ellen and Portia.

Shortly after the California Supreme Court overturned the state’s ban on gay marriage in mid-May, Ellen Degeneres announced on her show that she’d be marrying her long time partner Portia de Rossi. According to Us Weekly, the wedding’s going down this weekend in California . . . Ellen recently said on her show:

“Planning a wedding is very stressful. It’s crazy. My gardener is now invited.”

Hopefully, Portia didn’t sign any pre-nup. She can’t really get knocked up by Ellen, so that’s her only best bet! Sorry, business first, pleasure second.

Now that California has legalized marriage for the Gays, Ellen DeGeneres is planning to make an honest woman out of longtime love Portia de Rossi. During a Thursday afternoon taping of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the popular talk show host reportedly announced that she and actress de Rossi will soon walk down the aisle thanks to that the California Supreme Court’s lift on the State’s Gay Marriage Ban.

Ellen told the Advocate today:

I’m thrilled that the California supreme court overturned the ban on gay marriage. I can’t wait to get married. We all deserve the same rights, and I believe that someday we’ll look back on this, and not allowing gays to marry will seem as absurd as not allowing women to vote.
