This time it’s by a construction company that did work on his Bel Air, California, home.

Houck Construction is suing Joe Francis for $47,033.66 plus $24,848.19 in interest.

According to the lawsuit, The Girls Gone Wild mogul racked up a construction bill of $403,363.27 and he only paid them just over $356,329.61.

Girls Gone Wild founder Joe Francis was arrested yesterday after failing to appear for a hearing in his federal tax-evasion case. Francis claimed he didn’t show up for the hearing because he had the flu. From MSNBC:

Francis was originally expected in court at 8:30 a.m. for a hearing on his attorneys’ request to withdraw as his counsel. U.S. District Judge S. James Otero waited 30 minutes for the adult-video entrepreneur to arrive and had his clerk attempt to contact Francis by telephone, with no success. At that point, Otero issued a warrant for Francis’ arrest.

When Francis showed up in Otero’s courtroom after 1:30 p.m., indicating he had been suffering from the flu, U.S. marshals cuffed him and took him into custody, said defense attorney Melissa A. Weinberger, whose firm is representing Francis in proceedings stemming from Monday’s bench warrant.

Don’t feel too bad for Joe. He’s a wheeling and dealing businessman – he’ll do just fine in prison. “Attention everybody. Anyone who doesn’t rape me gets a free Girls Gone Wild t-shirt.”

Nothing warms my heart quite like a Joe Francis getting sued story – so I’m elated to report this morning that Ashley Alexandra Dupre is suing Francis to the tune of $10 million for filming her underage and exploiting her likeness.

Francis said he was “surprised and in fact amazed” by the lawsuit, noting he has not released new video of Dupre “due to corporate policy of not using footage of individuals younger than 18″ and asserting she gave her consent on video, providing identification.

I’m sure there’s a big gray area with intricate legal nuances to determine who’s culpable here… But when it comes down to it? If Joe Francis rescued a bunch of orphans and puppies from an ax-wielding murderer, and the murderer sued Joe Francis for injuries sustained – I’d be the first to donate half my paycheck to afford that murdering sonofabitch the best damn legal representation money can buy. So there’s pretty much no way I’m not going to take the side of the five thousand dollar whore. Or should I say, ten million dollar whore – right, Ashley? Ka-ching!
