This weekend Amy Winehouse’s mother Janis wrote her daughter an open letter, pleading with her to come home and get help. But Amy’s father Mitch insists she is already getting help from a doctor — she’s being ‘monitored very carefully’ every single day.

As for the Grammys, Winehouse’s rep told People:

“Amy is thrilled to be nominated for 6 Grammys and is very much hoping to attend. She is determined to be ready and well for that performance.”

Winehouse wasn’t, however, ready and well enough to shoot the official music video for her handsome song “Love Is A Losing Game.” Thank goodness for stock footage! Don’t let the music video’s tone fool you, Winehouse isn’t dead (yet).
