Paris Hilton begs for jail pardon from “Governator” Schwarzenegger
May 8, 2007 in Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton’s fans have posted an online petition urging California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to pardon her. Last week a judge sentenced Hilton to 45 days in jail for violating the terms of her probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case.
By 11 a.m. Tuesday, more than 1500 people had signed the petition. But the number of signatures continues to steadily climb.
The petition urges Schwarzenegger to pardon Hilton because she provides “beauty and excitement” to otherwise “mundane lives.” It goes on to say Hilton “provides hope for young people all over the US and the world.” It urges Schwarzenegger to “Please allow her to her return to her career and life.”
