Jimmy Fallon paid tribute to the late Robin Williams on his show last night, and in addition to reenacting one of the most famous scenes in “Dead Poets Society” in Robin’s honor, he also shared an endearing clip from way back when Robin was on Johnny Carson’s late-night TV show. The clip captures Robin at his very performative best, and showcases what a wonderfully animated character he really was.
Jimmy Fallon appears on the cover of this week’s “People” magazine and he is accompanied by his daughter Winnie Rose. In this issue, we learn his take on sleeping when becoming a new parent along with how everything has changed since the surrogate birthed his first child with his wife.
He revealed in the interview, “When you have a baby, sleep is not an option. You can’t sleep. Even on vacation, you wake up at 6:30 a.m.”
He went on to say, “This has been the craziest year of my life. But being a father is the most exciting, amazing thing that ever happened to me. And everything’s going well on the show. My life has never been this cool.”
He added, “I didn’t think it was going to be this fun. But everything just gets heightened when you have a baby. The volume gets turned up on life. I never knew I could be this happy, and that’s the truth.”
Isn’t she just as cute as a button?
Jimmy Fallon shocked the world when he announced that he and his wife Nancy Juvonen had welcomed a baby girl.
Now Fallon has revealed that he and his 46-year-old wife used a surrogate to have their child.
Baby Winnie Rose was born on July 23. Fallon, 38, and his wife Nancy decided to keep the baby news under wraps.
Jimmy sat down with Savannah Guthrie for an interview for the “Today” show that airs this week.
He said, “My wife and I had been trying a while to have a baby. We tried a bunch of things – so we had a surrogate.”
The Late Night With Jimmy Fallon host admitted his own colleagues had no idea they were expecting until the announcement of the birth.
Fallon stated, “We said, We’re not going to tell anybody. It’d be just more fun if it’s just private between me and my wife. And then we get to introduce her to everybody. When it happened we were shocked. … Who do we tell? Who’s going to be mad at us?”
He adds, “It’s so emotional”.
