Kensington Palace released the first photos of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince George. The photos, taken earlier this month by the Duchess’ father Michael Middleton, show the new family in the garden of Michael and Carole’s sprawling Bucklebury manor.
One photo shows William, Catherine, George with their cocker spaniel, Lupo and the Middleton family’s retriever, Tilly.
The Duke and Duchess stayed with the Middletons for the first few weeks of George’s life. Now it’s understood that the family of three is staying at their rented farmhouse in Anglesey, Wales while William finishes his operational tour with the Royal Air Force.
Although (adorably) Kate Middleton lists her occupation as “Princess of the United Kingdom” probably because “I don’t know, really… just vaguely busy all the time” was deemed too long.
After months of rumours and speculation, it’s official: Kate Middleton is pregnant!
The Duchess of Cambridge and her husband Prince William are expecting their first child, the Royal Palace confirmed in a statement early this morning.
The statement reads, “Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting a baby.”
Adding, “The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Harry and members of both families are delighted with the news.”
The Palace didn’t reveal how far along Middleton is, but noted that she was in the “very early stages” of the pregnancy was admitted to a King Edward VII Hospital in Central London with severe morning sickness, and will remain there for several days.
