Someone who use to work for Brittany Murphy has claimed that the Hollywood star use to talk frequently of a “high powered Hollywood player” who is supposedly pestering her. Not just was this “player” powerful, but also he supposedly had minions kidnap Brittany Murphy’s then boyfriend, Simon Monjack, back in April. Despite the fact that Simon’s 10 days of being missing coinciding with being jailed for 10 days for an expired U.S. visa, according to the Daily News, the source said,

“When he came back, he had head injuries,” says the former insider. “He was pale and sometimes had trouble standing.”

Not only that, but the former safer also claims Murphy said she was not capable to pay him because the money had been used for ransom.

Oprah has announced that she will open a 4,000 square-foot store near Harpo Studios in Chicago. Construction has already begun and will sell exclusively Oprah products.

Products will range from Oprah DVD’s to an African telephone wire basket to key rings.

No word yet on when the store will open.

Britney Spears will not be joining Cyndi Lauper and Debbie Harry onstage this Sunday in Los Angeles as has been previously reported. A rep for the tour said that they put out an offer to Brit to join the tour in Las Vegas, but they haven’t heard from her. Britney reportedly was skeptical about performing live.

A source close to her said, “Britney said she would only dance or lip-sync - and to be on stage with Cyndi, you have to actually perform. It’s not happening now.”

Maybe Britney realized she couldn’t do Cyndi Lauper tour appearance because she doesn’t actually sing.
